Building Momentum — Year 2 at Ile Omode School

After the success of our first year, we returned to Ile Omode with fresh energy and a more refined plan. Now equipped with insights from our first season, we doubled down on building core motor skills while threading in more golf-specific exercises and drills.

Every Tuesday and Thursday morning became a highlight on campus. Students sprinted to our station, eager to balance golf balls, mimic swings, and take their first real shots. With better balance, coordination, and confidence, we were able to start introducing real golf skills — short game fundamentals, basic putting technique, and even swing sequencing.

Our goal remained rooted in development, not perfection. We celebrated small victories: a well-balanced follow-through, a confident grip, or a student remembering golf etiquette. These incremental wins added up, and the students began to see themselves as golfers. All done right there on the black top!
